Backcast: Redfish in PAC, December 2020

When the sun, the wind, and the water conditions all line up in fall or winter in the Louisiana marsh, fly fishing for redfish can be outstanding. These days don’t come very often, probably only a handful of days feature the combination of sunny skies, low winds, and clear water that are required for an excellent day of sight fishing. Luckily I brought my GoPro and a Nikon film camera with my on my kayak on one of these days in December 2020 and was able to record one of my best outings of all time. I believe I landed 5 redfish, but I saw many more and got plenty of shots in. Below is the video, enjoy!
